Overview:

Avid Healthcare Services is hiring a Physical Therapist You will be responsible for the physical assessment, diagnosis, or treatment of assigned patients. We have Per Diem work available!!

Position:

• Physical Therapist
  

Requirements may include:

• Current Vocational License
• Valid Drivers License
• Pass Background Check
• Current Neg. PPD or Chest X-Ray
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• Administer various types of physical therapy
• Teach the disabled the fundamentals of self-care and other suitable activities
• Interpret physical therapy treatments to nurses, attendants, and patients, and teach others the treatment which must be continued after hospitalization
• Prepare reports and keep records and case histories
• Analyze situations accurately and take effective action.
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Maintain accurate patient medical records

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with medical software and equipment
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Shift

Days range from Monday-Sunday

• All Shifts

*This is NOT a travel position*

*2 weekend days/month availability is required. (2 Saturdays, 2 Sundays or Sat/Sun)

*Assignments are located & required in both Downtown Sacramento & Elk Grove locations

*Scheduled days/shifts & location are based on the facility needs

*Both facilities are open seven (7) days a week.

*Your availability is one of the criteria's reviewed for consideration for this assignment

*Your availability is how your schedule is created based on needs of either facility location

*All candidates must be available to work days as specified on availability you submit.

*This position is per diem.
