Position Overview:

Avid Healthcare Services is hiring X-Ray Technicians to work at a clinic in the Sacramento area. You will be responsible for assessing, evaluating, and testing patients. As well as preparing and positioning patients for imaging. Attending to patient needs during imaging procedures. Applying and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of radiation protection and safety practices. Independently performing or assisting a licensed practitioner in performing procedures such as mammograms, X-ray exams, MRIs. Preparing, administering, and documenting activities related to medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and institutional policy

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with medical software and equipment
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care

Flexible hours and scheduling. Per Diem work available based on your availability. We offer competitive pay with direct deposit available. We have a 24 hour on-call services in case you need to reach the office for urgent matters. There are Travel Incentives if applicable. We have a generous referral bonus if you refer people.

Shift

Shift hours are from Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
